Grand Depart

I think that I would very much like to start a Blog. This endeavor is not for the edification of readers or the satisfaction of self, but rather as a means to document my occasional thoughts, feelings, stories, and experiences that I believe are worth remembering. Hopefully, there will be no one with a grammatically watchful eye scrutinizing these words. It is my sincere desire that strangers and close friends alike read this and that my words may serve to help them in some capacity or the very least be a written account of my life. Cheers to the stories to come, let there be an abundance of tall tales and zero proof reading.

Poem: 1 Star Reviews (WIP)

This is currently a work in progress...trying to evaluate the themes and then working on the meter and vocabulary for punch.  His face was set like stone A grimace and a growl I'll pray this prayer to atone For the priests liturgical foul  A careful examiner of the Mass He only goes to the perfect church Vising others with a magnifying glass Instead of praying, he sits on a perch He thought love was in the rubric When it was really written on the heart Wormwood played him a good trick How pitiable the man in the dark Take note you unhappy churchman  because the imperfectly consecrated hand Can still fan the flame  That is meant to light the land
